Getting Ready Ages 4-5
(1 hour)


An introduction to representational drawing geared to the attention and motor coordination of the 4 and 5 year old. Children master the ability to recognize the elements of shape and combine them in drawing animals, characters, still life, nature, and design.

Media: Markers, pastels, charcoal, watercolors

Basic Drawing Ages 6-8
(1 hour)


A representational drawing and design class. Students draw from 3-dimensional objects, photos, illustrations and their imagination. Projects explore the animal kingdom, nature, design and still life.

Drawing Fundamentals Ages 9 -12
(1.5 hours)


An introduction to a wide variety of drawing styles, techniques, and media. Projects are geared to develop the student’s drawing skills and familiarity with a broader range of drawing mediums through the exploration of plant/animal kingdoms, nature, still life, human form, architectural structures, and world cultures.

Drawing for Teens & Adults

(2 Hours)
Geared to the older student, the longer class will allow for developing finished pieces and will include studies in nature, landscape, still life, perspective and human form. Students will be encouraged to work independently and to develop their own styles and creative approach.
