Get
together and have a Monart party!
Learn to draw using the
Monart method of drawing! You will begin with learning the 5 basic
elements of shape and continue with a guided drawing lesson teaching you
how to combine these elements to create a drawing. All quality art
supplies will be provided and lessons can be designed to specifically
meet the age and skill levels of the participants. Classes at the Monart
Drawing Schools are based on the methods described in the best selling
books, Drawing with Children and Drawing for Older Children &
Teens,
by Mona Brookes. The Monart method teaches you how to perceive the world
in terms of basic elements of shape. Just as musicians learn notes and
scales in order to play instruments, Monart students learn skills
necessary to translate their perceptions onto paper. Since 1979, the
Monart method has achieved phenomenal results among children and adults.
In a non-competitive peaceful environment students learn that drawing is
a teachable subject in which everyone can be successful, that there is
no right or wrong way to draw, and that there are no mistakes in art.

We
are excited to begin offering a new monthly adult event that allows you
to create a painting or drawing in one fun, relaxing evening!
Our Monart teachers will take you step by step through creating the
featured artwork of the month. We provide all of the art supplies, along
with munchies and snacks for you to nibble on as you explore your inner
artist. At the end of the evening, you take home an amazing piece of
artwork that you created.
Our Eat Paint Laugh events are so much fun and now we are excited and
honored to team up with Cobblestone Grill in Zionsville and offer Canvas
& Corkscrews at Cobblestone.
