Certified Private School Teachers

Monart Academically Based Teacher In-Service Training
Monart workshops and presentations are given in school districts nationwide to assist public and private school teachers in using the Monart method of drawing as a highly effective teaching tool. We show you how to easily integrate art into your classroom to teach other core academic subjects like reading, math, history, geography, sciences, and more.

Our teacher training workshops will help you to:

• Gain drawing confidence

• Use drawing as a tool to teach other subjects

• Create curriculum based projects

• Explore various drawing media

• Understand multiple intelligence theory

Types of In-Service Presentations Offered

• One Day Basic Monart Orientation - This one-day workshop for certified schoolteachers is a hands-on training session that will introduce you to the Monart drawing method and philosophy. You will learn how to integrate drawing into core content areas. You will acquire drawing confidence, gain classroom management skills and explore various drawing media. You will leave with several drawing projects ready to use in your classroom.

• Monart Draw & Learn - This two day training class will show you how to use drawing through the Monart method to develop projects in reading, math science, social studies, geography, history and includes ESL and Bilingual studies units. There will be lots of ready to use lessons available. You will acquire drawing confidence, gain classroom management skills, learn how to use drawing as a tool, use art to teach other classroom subjects and explore various drawing media. Continuing education credit is available for this course.

• Slide show presentation and discussion - A two hour presentation designed to introduce the philosophy and practical application of the drawing method. Includes a lecture, slide show, student art exhibit and a question and answer time.

There are two ways to schedule a Monart Teacher

In-Service

• Open Enrollment Plan - Provide us with a space to teach the workshop and we handle the registration.

• Private Enrollment Plan - Hire our trainer for a daily flat rate fee and all travel expenses and have your own teachers attend as well as invite other schools to participate.
